Waiting to be surprised...

I'd like to welcome myself to the wonderful world of blogging! I am now a blogonator, if that makes any sense at all. So Blog #1...here it goes!

So throughout my blogging life which will probably last 3-4 days just like everyone else's, I do not plan on mentioning names on my blog, Jordan, or will I plan to embarrass any of my friends, Ashley, who may or may not approve, Michael, of this Blog. The funniest part of this blog is the things that I may or may not talk about, my friends will know exactly what I'm talking about, so maybe I can try and mix it up a bit by dropping favorite Trail Blazers players names through my blog.

Arvydas and I just got done watching a movie tonight. It was a good one, and if you haven't seen the Real Life of Dan, I suggest it. It was a great one. One for the ages, just like Buck Williams. At the end of the movie, there was a great line..."wait to be surprised" PS, the blazers lost to lowly Bobcats tonight, how the *$(#*$( does that happen...anyways...There are so many of us out there who just want everything to happen now!! I have come to find out while becoming a, menace to society, that life is all about timing. I know many friends who have been shot down after 2 weeks of a great relationship where you don't stop talking to 2 years of a relationship where you don't stop fighting. It's all a prep test for us. I'm sure all of my readers, thanks mom, will tell you that everything happens for a reason. I've come to find out that I need to wait to be surprised. We will get nowhere in life if we try to make things work when everyone knows they won't. And we all need to remember that with our adventure of waiting to be surprised, we need to make as many friends and make as many people happy as we can in this short life. I can almost guarantee that at some point in the friendships you make, one or the other person is going to start a liking of the other...And then the following week it will be the other way around. It's just waiting for that day when you both find out, that you are both "in like" with each other. Cliff Robinson. And that day will come where all your friends will be so happy for you because you were "surprised" by what life has given you, Terry Porter. So in essence it's waiting for that time when the 2 will both be surprised by the other...Mark Bryant.

So what does this Blog mean tonight, I have no idea. But I do know that I need to wear a headband for the fans in the real cheap seats. Actually, let me just end tonight's session of the blog by saying...Life is a journey. We're not always going to know what is going to happen and that is what makes life so great. But at the same time there are some things we can't control and if we can't...we might as well grab a seat in Section 221 Row A Seat 1 and wait to be surprised. For the Blazers may win an NBA Championship, or you might find everything you ever wanted and more.

Agreed. Th decision between surprise and the 'knowing' is what most people stand disgruntled with. But i believe those who can truly appreciate the suprise, definitly has 100% more going for him/her.
