Now what?!

Okay...lame am I! I thought I was going to be able to write in this bloggy blog on a weekly basis. Well I also thought the Blazers were going to make the playoffs this year, so I guess it shows you what I know.

So much to write this week, I don't know where to start. First, I will start with the Blazers, and why not, I have no one else to write about. I attended the Blazer/Laker game with a certain "BIF" or better known as the lion. Anyways, it was a great game. Very entertaining, and for those keeping track at home, I swore a total of 0 times, yes ZERO. And that was after a Odom Flagrant foul on Brandon. And Kobe complaining like fat kid who can't have his cake. Great game and of course a plus that we beat them pretty good.

My thoughts this week turn towards a certain general conference that church holds twice a year. And it's the best time of year, as I tell all my friends, it's Church on TV. Can life get any better? Well, maybe if the Blazers won the finals...just kiddin! But I was able to watch the Saturday morning session and what a great feeling that was to set apart our new President and Prophet of the church, President Thomas S. Monson. The church is in good hands, and good humor, and no I'm not talking about the ice cream treat, although does sound good at the moment. Anyways, I'm not about to bare my testimony here on the blog, I can save that for the next fast Sunday as I prepare my talk for testimo....errrrrrr NO TALKS OR...15 MINUTE STORIES OF HOW YOU DECIDED TO PICK THAT PAIR OF SHOES...DURING FAST AND TESTIMONY MEETING. End of griping for those that gripe at church. You know who you are...actually I don't even know if I know who you are, but you do!

And lastly, it's time for Dr. Brent AKA "Hitch" to put his 2 cents in about relationships, since I don't have one, it's easy for me to talk about. The more and more I think about it, people these days are fixated on the idea of finding the perfect other. Do people not know, they don't exist!? I mean if they did, we would all be happy right now. There would not be a match.com or eharmony.com for that matter to put our savings towards to find the soulmate. I think it's a matter of looking past the past, and living for the future...and really looking for who you will be able to be best friends with. I know we have all heard the same analogy, but trying to find that "Best Friend" because having a friendship is so huge compared to everything else. Friends always get in fights over the stupidest things, and stay friends. But boyfriends and girlfriends break up and usually can't stand to be around each other for a certain time until they decide that being friends is okay. Sometimes one of the two takes longer than the other to realize that being friends is good. But here's my advice when it comes to dating...actually I don't have any, but if you did want any...go on Maury Povich and take a lie detector test or you can give me some money on my paypal account and I will probably end up making fun of you or telling a dumb joke to make it worth your while.

To finish the second annual blog of my blog I wish to end this by saying...stay tuned for the third annual blog of my blog to read the bloggy blog.
